Classic & vintage cars tackle the VSCC Cheshire Autumn Rally 2021 | Vintage Sportscar Club

Autumn 2021 saw the VSCC (Vintage Sports Car Club) inaugural Cheshire Autumn Rally take place, so I decided to drive over and both take a look at the vintage and post-vintage classic cars that were due to take part, and also film the cars and crews heading off to begin this navigational rally.
The vintage car world was well represented at the VSCC Cheshire Autumn Rally 2021, with the likes of Austin 7, Alvis 12/50 & 12/60, Bentley 3 Litre, Frazer Nash, Ford Model A, Dodge Brothers, MG, Gwynne, Star & Lagonda in attendance. Invites were also made available to owners of post-vintage, classic cars, and this section of the entry was represented by Volvo Amazon, Triumph TR3A, MGC GT, Minis, Alfa Romeo & Lancia Aurelia.
Experienced road-rally entrants had a short time to plot their route once directions were made available, novices having longer to do their prep work before heading off onto the roads of Cheshire.
This video takes a leisurely walk around the cars as they gathered at the start point, and then captures them heading away for the first leg of the day. I was especially interested in seeing the late-teens Dodge Brothers tourer, as mechanically it shares the same running gear as my ’24 car.
